Blackhead Removal and Extraction

February 25th, 2010 by renske

A blackhead is a type of pimple that forms when the pores of the skin get clogged with oils and impurities. A dark collection of sebum, dead skin cells and keratin that plugs the opening of a pore. Also called an open comedone; plug comprised of yellow or black material that accumulates in the sebaceous glands. A non-inflammatory acne lesion that is filled with excess oil and dead skin cells.

Wash your face twice a day morning and night. And if you get to them pop them it’s just like popping a pimple. Cause blackheads start from clogged pores like pimples.

Mix baking soda and witch hazel/or water together until it comes to a good constancy, and then spread on your face and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. these two things are very inexpenisve and it’s very easy to do since there is only two ingerdients.

The pore strips are simple and pull the blackheads right out. What you do is first cleanse your face with a face wash. Then, dry your face with a clean towel. Then, wet the spot on your face where the blackheads are. You then place the strip on there for 15 minutes, pull off, and you will see all the blackheads the the strip pulled out for you. You will use these every 3 days and see less blackheads instantly.

You can exfoliate using salt and a bit of water. Make a paste and really give your face a good scrub. Steam your face to soften both the skin and the material blocking the pores.

Rub oatmeal paste on face, leave it to dry for 15 minutes before washing off with cold water. Beat white part of an egg. Add one teaspoon of honey and with a cotton swab, apply it on face. Keep it around half an hour and then rinse with warm water. This is also good for blackheads and dark spots.

Apply a good quality medicated cream or gel containing resorcinol, salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. This helps is soaking the oil and helps in peeling away the blackheads. You can get creams or gels of Benzoyl Peroxide treating blackheads If benzoyl peroxide leaves your skin dry, apply an oil-free moisturizer after 10 mins of applying benzoyl peroxide.

Daily as a morning toner/moisturizer you can use 1/4 tsp. aloe vera gel mixed with 2 or 3 drops of tea tree essential oil. Works really well. Baking soda mixed with water into a paste and then add tea tree essential oil if you’d like then scrub the affected are 2-3 min. Or apply elmers glue to affected are let dry and peel off like you would pore strips. Works really well!

Also take vitamins A, E, D, C, B5 vitamin & Zinc. Also eat healthy lean meats, fresh fruits and vegetables. Boxed foods and fast food will make it so much worse!

You can use scraber for blackhead, or you can use a home therapy, take some pulses and bland it in mixer with a few drops of water and apply it on blackhead and rub slowly for 5 min and you will make differences in min.

February 23rd, 2010 by renske

Blackheads are embarrassing and can be frustrating when trying to remove. If you “pop” them, you can irritate your skin and the blackhead could spread or get infected. So, what I’m going to do is share with the best way to remove blackheads.

Basically, blackheads are another form of acne. They are caused by excess oil that clogs one or more of your pores. And usually appear only on oily skin. Since, blackheads are a form of acne, they should be treated just like acne.

So, with that said, the easy way to remove blackheads are:

1. Washing your face regularly will help you remove blackheads. You should use sorbitol or glycerin soaps, such as neutrogena. Using other soaps could dry your face and make it itchy. That’s why you should use soaps that are easy on the skin.

2. Eating healthy is another way to remove blackheads. Eating foods that are loaded with sugar, vegetable oil, and saturated fats will cause you to breakout. Also, fatty foods cause you to have oily skin. So, try to limit these foods as much as possible.

Instead, you should focus on eating foods, such as vegetables, fruits, lean meats (tuna, chicken breast, lean beef, turkey), whole wheat foods, and nuts.

3. Other ways to remove blackheads includes using over-the-counter treatments, exfoliants and skin creams, blackhead strips, or effective home remedies and methods that will clear up your acne and prevent it from coming back.

These are the best ways to remove blackheads. Use the tips to get rid of your blackheads for good. Don’t let the embarrassment of having blackheads ruin your day or frustrate you ever again.

How Do You Get Rid of Blackheads – Simple and Easy Blackhead Removal Tips

February 22nd, 2010 by renske

So how do you really get rid of blackheads, they always seems to disappear after a treatment then slyly turn up again a few weeks later. It is an on going battle to keep blackheads at bay, but thankfully there are solutions. Chances are you just haven’t found the right one or aren’t doing things right. Here are a few tips to eliminate those pesky blackheads.

1. Do not over wash your face, only exfoliate when you are taking a shower, more often than that will make your skin produce more oil and create more blackheads. Exfoliating your skin will remove dead skin cells which accumulate inside your pores and contribute to blackheads. Use very mild skin products including a cleanser and moisturizer.

2. Use a blackhead extractor after you shower, this will help remove any trapped oil. It is best to use after a shower when your pores are open and receptive, when your pores are closed it is harder to remove the sebum and will result in your skin getting cut or bruised.

3. Always remove your makeup before going to bed, leaving makeup on your skin can help the build up in your pores. Buy a mild makeup remover and use it before you do your nightly skin regime.

4. Change your pillow case often, by doing this you can cut down on the amount of oil that is transferred from your face to pillow. If you do not change your pillow case often oil could build up and transfer onto your face as your sleep.

Blackheads can be most stubborn and hardest to remove form of acne, but it is possible you just need to find the right treatment for you. You can start using these tips today and you should see a improvement in weeks.

Top Acne And Blackheads Removal Methods, Surgeries And Techniques

February 16th, 2010 by renske

There are more than one procedure for removal of acne and blackheads by surgery. Surgery seems a big name for any medical treatment, but as far as removal of blackheads is concerned, it is the minimal operation. It is just a simple system or procedure.

Some of the most commonly used and accepted procedures for acne removal are chemical peeling, dermabrasion, excision surgery and collagen and fat tissue filling. And of course the famous laser treatment- mild, medium or deep, depending upon your conditions is also there.

Your dermatologist, after the thorough examination of your acne and skin conditions, will recommend the treatment process that is most suitable for you.

Chemical peels are ideal for the scars caused from comedones, blackheads and whiteheads. Even the deeper and big scars can be reduced by using the chemical peels over and over again.

The most accepted treatment for acne and blackheads removal is laser treatment. The intensity of laser treatment depends upon the level and condition of your acne and blackheads. Under this process, the infrared laser beams, without harming the skin or the tissues elevate the depressed scars and tighten collagen fibers.

So the advantage and superiority of the laser procedure is that it reaches deeper skin layers as compared to other procedures and hence the results are permanent. Complex scars and whiteheads can also be treated by laser procedures. That is even the irregular scarring can be remodeled by this technique.

Dermabrasion is a technique developed specifically for acne scar treatment. It scores points over chemical peel for the reason that it reaches deeper skin layers. Even the hypertrophic scars are treated by this technique. The ice-pick scars are taken care of by using a combination of punch excision of the scar tissue and dermabrasion.

Procedures like Intralesional Steroid Injection (Keloids) and soft tissue augmentation also treat the scars and blackheads quite effectively.

Skin surgery is another commonly used procedure now. There are procedures to remove each scar individually. Even skin graft is used, wherever necessary.

Along with the surgical procedure adopted by you, the essential part of the overall treatment is that your skin needs strength and support for renewal and growth of the tissues. That is possible by your taking the right type of diet, so that the skin can respond well to the treatment. If the skin does not get the essential vitamins for its maintenance and growth, your acne problems will remain as problems and you are bound to be ready for the next attack of acne at not too a distant future!

How to get rid of Blackheads, Remove Blackheads

February 3rd, 2010 by renske

Even people who do not have the misfortune of getting acne or pimples sometimes had to deal with black heads. How to get rid of black heads is a question that gets asked a lot. Depending on your skin tone and your situation there can be a lot of different answers but generally there are a few tips you can follow regardless of your skin condition that will help you eliminate black heads.

Your ****** skin is one of the most delicate parts of the body, which explains why even the slightest form of irritation could result to devastating blackheads. If you want to know how to get rid of blackheads, the best way to start is to determine its cause. Blackheads usually happens when excess oil are stuck in your pores. Oftentimes, the use of skin care products could also contribute to the formation of such skin blemishes.

Pore strips. This is the simplest and easy method. Just paste it over the skin, wait awhile for it to dry and pull away the pore strip to remove the blackheads. However, a word of caution, overusing pore strips can aggravate your skin condition and can cause spider veins if it is pulled too hard.

But what about once you have them? Worried about how to get rid of blackheads then? One of the best ways to get rid of a blackhead is to squeeze it out. Make sure you are not squeezing too hard because this can do more harm to your skin than good. Gentle squeezing is actually good for your skin. It relieves the pressure, preventing further damage to your skin. If you are over squeezing, pinching, scraping the skin with your nails, or pressing too hard you are doing great damage to your skin.

One of the best type of natural remedies for acne is by washing the face tenderly with a mild soap or sulfur soap at least two times a day. This can help prevent the onset and spread of whiteheads and blackheads. This is one of the best ways on how to get rid of blackheads because it’s so simple to do once you get into the habit.

It is not clearly understood why the sebaceous glands begin to become overactive. It is often noted that this situation begins at puberty, and may stop at the end of puberty leading to the conclusion that it is hormonally controlled. For some people this is not the case however, and they may continue to experience blackheads and whiteheads well past puberty and into adulthood. Whiteheads are formed the same way as blackheads with the exception that the pore is closed and the oxidation does not occur.

3 Top Treatments For Blackheads Removal

February 2nd, 2010 by renske

Blackhead is a type of acne vulgaris. It is usually caused by clogged pores and an accumulation of toxic oils expelled by the body. People with combination and oily skin are most susceptible to having blackheads. They also tend to have problems with enlarged pores and excess sebum.

Most people will try to squeeze out the blackheads and whiteheads on the skin. However, this is not the best way to get rid of them. There is even the danger of scarring the skin tissue when not done properly. Here we will look at top 3 treatments for blackheads.

1) Benzoyl Peroxide – This contains antibacterial properties that can help to reduce the congestions at the pores. It is very effective in treating mild comedones as well as preventing new ones from forming.

2) Alpha Hydroxyl Acid – This is primarily a derivative of either can sugar, fruit acids or milk acids. This solution works at unclogging the pores to remove whiteheads. It also boost skin cell regeneration and helps to give that radiant glow on the skin.

3) Salicylic Acid – This solution helps to cut down excess oils on the skin as well as removing dead skin cells on the surface. It is very effective for blackhead removal.

Other treatments include Accutane and Tretinoin (vitamin A). However, these two treatments are very strong and often come with side effects. In most cases, using any of the 3 agents mentioned above can control blackheads and whiteheads. You should start the product slowly and use sparingly at the beginning. After your skin is used to the product, you can slowly increase the strength of the solution.
